Lawn Care and Weeding Effectively


Stooping over and cleaning the weeds is not everyone’s idea of spending quality time and it is thus no wonder that removing weeds is one of the least loved lawn care jobs, but without this natural process your lawn would never look well-kept. Weeds, like all plants, need sunlight, soil, nutrients, and time to grow.

You will also see weeds on the rest of your grass as well and while mowing can help, it will not get down to the root of the trouble. This is where you will need to get down on the ground and begin pulling weeds up by, you guessed, it, their roots.

Here is a list of what NOT to do with your big bag of weeds after you have gathered them: Never use them as mulch since the seeds would once again spread spoiling your entire function of getting rid of weeds. Burning of weeds are is not recommended as the smell could be damaging if inhaled. Never add them to the compost file or try to consume them, as they may be damaging to health.

If you put all this in the trash situated within your home, the small insects, which come with the weeds, could infest your home. Take the trash and keep it outside the house, and gather all the weeds in it. Now you can start weeding comfortably since you know how to get them out by their roots, reduce their proliferation and get rid of them too.
